Meet the Maker

The real person behind KnotSense

Hi! I'm Kristi.

I started KnotSense in 2013. I could probably be called a paracord hoarder, but I absolutely love knotting it into practical and beautiful products.

Along with running KnotSense and hand-making the products, I have been a magazine editor for 23 years and am a family caregiver.

I live in beautiful Colorado with my husband and our three kids.

Out and about...

I attend various events throughout the year, such as the Autism Resource Fair in Denver and other resource fairs for people who may have sensory needs. It allows me to show in person how my products can help people, as well as hear what needs are in the community that I might be able to develop products for.

Our younger son is my mailbox runner. He is a great product tester.
